This Privacy Policy explains how Papero (papero.io) handles your data.

1. Data we process

• Content you type — your chat messages and document details are sent to our server and to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate and edit your documents. We do not use your content to train AI models.
• Images you attach — logos and pictures placed into documents are processed to render them; document photos in the photo tool are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded.
• Local data — your chats, drafts and saved documents are stored in your browser (localStorage) on your device, not on our servers.
• Technical data — basic logs (IP address, user agent) may be processed by our hosting providers (Cloudflare) to operate and protect the service.
• Payment data — payments are processed by Creem.io as Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details. See Creem's privacy policy for details.

2. Purposes

We process data to provide the service (generate documents), to secure and improve it, and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

3. Processors

We use Cloudflare (hosting, security), Anthropic (AI generation) and Creem (payments). Each processes data under its own terms and safeguards.

4. Retention

Chat and document content is processed transiently to generate responses and is retained on your device, under your control. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data or deleting chats and documents in the interface.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection. Contact us at support@papero.io and we will help.

6. Cookies

Papero itself uses only local storage necessary for the service to work (your language, chats, documents). We do not use advertising cookies on the site.
